I feel incredibly fortunate to be the Principal of East Loddon P-12 College and I come to school each day with a great sense of pride and optimism. We are a small school in the middle of ‘cow-paddocks’ and we are also proud of that! East Loddon has a terrific wider college community, a dedicated staff and great students! I love that new and visiting teachers comment favourably on the ‘feel’ of the college and it is always incredibly rewarding when we receive positive feedback from those who have hosted our students on camps, excursions and sports days.

East Loddon P-12 College provides a seamless transition between all levels of schooling from foundation through to year 12 and there is no better feeling than seeing our students navigate through the year levels and into the wider world beyond their schooling. Our unique P-12 setting not only allows for me to be a prep reading buddy each morning, but it also allows for genuine relationships and rapport to be built between staff and students at all year levels. We have consistently proven that our students can achieve very high academic results and we have a great record when it comes to students joining the workforce or following their preferred career pathway. Whilst we want our students to be academically successful, more than anything else we want them to be good people and positive contributors to society who embrace our values of respect, responsibility, resilience and relationships!

We have recently had two-thirds of our college rebuilt and we now have state of the art facilities that would be the envy of many. Whilst new builds do not guarantee great teaching, I am confident that our agreed teaching and learning model (iLearn 2.0) and frequent professional learning with our learning specialists, provides a great base for us as educators to use when catering for individual student learning needs.

Rather than me pumping up the tyres of our great college even further, I suggest that you book a time to come and see it for yourself! I don’t believe that you will be disappointed!
