Student Leaders

The College has introduced leadership positions for students to develop their confidence and skills in the areas of decision-making, consultation, running meetings and events, and public speaking.

Students are taught to be active citizens in their communities by being involved in programs within their local community. Students are also encouraged to be involved in the Student Representative Council from Year 4 and up (see more information below). They have the opportunity to be elected to positions of Sports House Captains, Bus Captains and Sub- School Captains.

The buddy system in the P-4 area assigns an older student to a younger student and has two main benefits.
The older student learns to take on responsibility, while the younger student knows they have another person at school to whom they can turn for assistance.

Student Representative Council (SRC)

Students from Year 4-12 are invited to volunteer their time at the beginning of each year, and attend regular meetings to discuss issues, suggest changes, organise events and fundraisers
and promote school activities.
