Students from Year 11 VM and Year 9 made the trek to Fiery Flat to assist the Loddon Plains Landcare Network plant some trees to assist in flood recovery work.
After initial instructions were given, students worked in teams to plant and water in over 800 trees. This was a massive undertaking and all students worked fantastically well!
The end result saw three lines of white tree protectors stretching over hundreds of metres into the distance showing the great work.
The Landcare organisers were blown away by how well the students worked and the job they did, and they are keen to recruit our hardworking team again in the future!
