Congratulations to Emily S who made a beautiful speech to receive this scholarship award. As part of this award a scholarship nomination was submitted by a kind person who truly admires the work that Emily and people like her do in the school and broader community. Emily is keen advocate for our students and is extremely passionate about our SRC and events within the school that support students connectedness and wellbeing.
Emily was then selected for an interview where she was able to wow the panel with her volunteer work, sense of community and passion for helping others, especially those in need. On International Women’s Day, Emily was asked to speak and receive the award. She graciously thanked those that had nominated her, supported her and believed in her.
